CEMETERIES AND BURIAL SEARCH FOR SCOTTISH JEWISH CEMETERIES.
The information contained in this web site is brought to you following over 3 years of work using the old Burial Registers, Excel Spreadsheets, Shul Records and exhaustive internet searches. As far as I am aware, there have been a few people involved in the early transfer of data to Spreadsheets, and to all those anonymous people I am truly grateful.
A grateful thanks goes to those involved in photographing all the Headstones.
These data were updated to present day by cross-checking, with other available sources, most information where possible. However, although every effort has been made to publish correct and accurate information, support from relatives and friends is encouraged to correct any mistakes or missing information, in which case, please email the Webmaster.
Unfortunately, some Headstones have long since disappeared or are too badly damaged or worn to be legible.
As of 1st January 2018 not all GPS positions are working yet, but please be patient.
These 20+ locations collectively contain about 16,200 Burials.
Between July and September 2017 Google Maps updated their Satellite Imagery, now as a result GPS coordinates can be between 1 and 2 metres out. Also when clicking on the "Locate" button, you may need to hit the "Search" button on Google Maps to see the arrow - I am going to try to correct this in the future.
