Scottish Jewish Cemeteries

Newsflash – After careful thought I am introducing a new Section under the name of XPat which will include anyone born in Scotland and passed away abroad and/or buried abroad. Anyone with a friend or relative that this refers to please contact the Webmaster with the relevant details for inclusion.

The information contained in this web site is brought to you following 10 years of work using the old Burial Registers, Excel Spreadsheets, Shul Records and exhaustive internet searches. As far as I am aware, there have been a few people involved in the early transfer of data to Spreadsheets, and to all those anonymous people I am truly grateful.

A grateful thanks goes to those involved in photographing all the Headstones.

These data were updated to present day by cross-checking, with other available sources, most information where possible. However, although every effort has been made to publish correct and accurate information, support from relatives and friends is encouraged to correct any mistakes or missing information, in which case, please email the Webmaster.

Please note every effort is made to publish accurate information, however, official documents are often very hard to make sense of, so some guesses may have been made as to spelling etc. Always check yourself or email the WebMaster.
