This is one of the 3 Jewish Sections at the Western Necropolis, being the oldest established in 1889. It has a few overturned stones, but generally in good order. It contains 133 burials ( as at 26th January 2023 ), is inactive and well maintained (grass covered). There are approximately 16 unmarked graves. These figures were arrived at after comprehensive access to the official Council records.
